About this opportunity
Ericsson is excited to invite applications for the HW Make Support role, responsible for fostering operational excellence, quality assurance, and production efficiency within our dynamic teams. In this vital role, you will contribute to the development, implementation and maintenance of cost-effective, ergonomic, and safe production processes, equipment, and tools. You will play a crucial part in enhancing production performance by collecting data, analyzing, modifying, and implementing production processes, strategies, and tools. Your innovative ideas and suggestions will help improve product design in pre-development and ongoing projects, ensuring a seamless product lifecycle from a supply perspective.

What you will do:
  • Develop and enforce electrical safety protocols and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and inspections of electrical systems, including ESD and grounding.
  • Provide training to the workforce on electrical safety practices, with a focus on ESD awareness and prevention.
  • Lead all aspects of the design and optimization of the manufacturing facility layout to enhance workflow efficiency and EHS compliance.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives for layout optimization.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive ESD control program to safeguard sensitive electronic components and devices.
  • Supervise and lead a team of technicians, emphasizing the importance of compliance in day-to-day operations.
  • Ensure regular reports on electrical safety performance, equipment downtime, and the effectiveness of ESD control measures.

You will bring
  • Degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering, or a closely related field is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in electronics manufacturing or a related field.
  • Consistent track record of successful electrical safety management and production equipment maintenance.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams, providing effective guidance and mentorship.
  • Familiarity with regulatory bodies and their requirements in the electronics manufacturing sector.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
