About this opportunity
 
Welcome to Automation Data & Change, a unit in Operations, Group Business Support. We add value by driving Business transformations in Nordea Operations, which are supporting Nordea Business Areas in delivering products and services to our customers.
 
As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead a wide range of change initiatives. To start with, you will drive a critical regulatory change across various units, so it is important that you possess the skill of delivering agreed and concrete results through your personal leadership, while collaborating across many functions, different agendas and management levels. By joining us you will become part of an international project organisation with colleagues in 10 locations and 6 countries.
 
This role can be based in Sweden, Finland, Poland or Estonia.
 
As the Senior Project Manager, you will:
  • Take ownership of individual projects or streams within strategic programmes and ensure execution of plans from start to finish
  • Build partnerships with stakeholders (e.g. Business Areas, Technology, and Operations Service Lines etc) to ensure effective and timely deliveries
  • Secure alignment with other projects and/or relevant units, balancing key milestones and collective delivery ambitions
  • Ensure appropriate project governance and application of Nordea project methodology, while applying traditional and agile ways of working in projects
  • Contribute to the development of our Project Management capability

Your experience and background: 
  • Proven project leadership experience, preferably within strategic initiatives - experience from Consulting or Banking industry is considered an advantage
  • Have excellent communication skills in English, both written and spoke
  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
  • Relevant Bachelor's/Masters degree e.g. in Business Administration or Engineering
