About this opportunity

Our mission in Ericsson Estonia Smart Manufacturing Department is to enable data driven decision-making process within Ericsson. We have many different data sources starting from classical relational databases and ending with BLOBs and IoT devices. One of our main goals is to make sure that right people get relevant and good quality data on time. For that we need your help.

We are looking for a Data Architect to join our team of data experts. We work in cross-functional teams, following Scrum methodology, with a focus on continuous improvement, innovation and knowledge sharing.

What you will do

• Improve the data-driven decision making processes within Ericsson, helping to delivering key insights about factory processes to stakeholders.

• Clarify business use cases and help stakeholders to leverage data and analytics tools to solve their problems.

• Design and set up data structures for manufacturing data warehouse with clear focus on supporting the business use cases with required data.

• Mapping and analyzing manufacturing data sources to understand how the use them in an optimal way.

• Be the ambassador for data-driven decisions.

• Guide less experienced data enthusiasts so that they can level up. You have lots of experience. Share it with others. Let's evolve as a team.

The skills you bring

• 5+ years of experience working as a data analyst, data engineer, data architect or other data related roles

• Degree or relevant experience in IT, Data Science or other relevant field

• Experience with relevant tools and technologies such as PowerBI, Tableau, SQL, Snowflake

• Experience with designing complex and scalable data models to be used in data warehouses (Data Vault on Snowflake) in sustainable way

• Understanding automated data processing, pipelines and streaming

• Ability to explain and document your work in easy to read and understandable way

• Great English, good communication and presentation skills

• Capability to work both autonomously and in global teams, keeping the promises
