Requirements for candidates:
Coordination of technical services and inspectors
• Purchasing of spare parts and services for the vessels and ensure compliance with the budgets for the technical operations.
• Day to day supervision of assigned vessels and ensure that they are maintained and operated safely, effectively and reliably in accordance with the technical budget.
• Ensure that the maintenance planning, execution and control is carried out according to company, class and client standards.
• Ensure conformance to planned maintenance system.
• Ensure vessel follows relevant regulations/requirements.
• Monitor survey status of vessels, conduct periodic inspection survey of assigned vessels and follow up on identified defects.
• Prepare, supervise, attend, document and follow-up on dry-dockings& repairs, supply of stores and spares.
• Preparing budgets for the vessel.
• Other special tasks and projects as instructed
• Otherwise as described in management system
Desired qualifications and characteristics
• Higher maritime or technical education
• Relevant experience in maritime operations
• Good knowledge of English
• Good IT knowledge
• Systematic with good communication and collaboration skills
Workplace in office, Bergen and Tallinn, with regular inspection onboard vessels
