Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and/or Java.
- Lead the development of new features and improvements in existing apps.
- Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.
- Maintain code quality through code reviews, testing, and best practices.
Key skills:
- 5+ years of professional Android development experience.
- Proven experience building and launching Android applications from scratch.
- Strong proficiency in Kotlin
- Deep understanding of Android SDK, architecture components, and best practices.
- Experience with modern Android development tools (Jetpack, MVVM/MVI, Room, Retrofit, etc.).
- Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and agile workflows.
- Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs and mobile design principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
Bonus skills:
- Experience with Jetpack Compose.
- Familiarity with Firebase, GraphQL, or mobile analytics tools.
- Published apps on Google Play Store with a portfolio or links.
