Do you want to work on topics of strategic importance for Nordea's Financial Crime Prevention Area? We are currently looking for you, Business Analysts to help deliver great experience for our customers as first assignment taking place in Transaction Monitoring topics.

As the Business Analyst, you will play a valuable role in designing and implementing solutions that bring value to Nordea on a journey to detect and prevent financial crime. We are a team of international proactive and professional individuals that are working with cutting edge technology. 

What you'll be doing:
  • Practice agile principles and work in an agile framework, and proactively propose improvements to the agile setup you are a part of
  • Work together with business stakeholders to translate high level business demand into more concrete features and user stories, and align on the prioritization 
  • Put your technical skills to good use to explore options for - and help shape - the best solutions that create customer value 
  • Extract knowledge and understandable insights from data in various forms, and facilitate data driven decision making 
  • Be proactive facilitator in getting the right people together 
  • Network effectively to get to know your stakeholders in the organization 
  • Deliver best-in-class solution for transaction monitoring

You'll join a Transaction Monitoring Change Management unit team in our Helsinki metropolitan area where you will continuously develop your skills within Product Management and Transaction Monitoring. You will be assigned to an agile development hub and be a part of a cross-functional agile team or work on Agile Release Train level, working towards a shared business purpose.

Your experience and background: 
  • You have an excellent business orientation and understanding of the financial industry with extended experience in Business Analysis, Product Management, IT Product Development or similar
  • You have experience working as a Business Analyst, preferably as part of an Agile team
  • You have experience in requirement elicitation and analysis with high level of competence in communicating requirements in a clear and concise manner using presentation and visualisation tools
  • You are proactive, self-driven and collaborate well with multiple stakeholders at all levels
  • You have experience in Agile ways of working and related methodologies (e.g. SAFe, Scrum, Agile-Lean) 
  • You preferably have experience in financial crime prevention and/or transaction monitoring with focus on data and related products
  • You have experience working with agile project management tools, for example Jira and Confluence
  • You are fluent in written and spoken English
