We are now looking for an exceptional Software Quality Engineer to work alongside the Embedded Software Team to drive quality and integration.
What you will do
- Create well-structured test plans and test cases
- Define and perform hands-on testing focused on embedded devices
- Develop and execute automation scripts using Python
- Isolate and report defects and follow-through as necessary to complete the testing cycle
- Look into the logs and understand the inner workings of the embedded distribution system
- Troubleshoot problems
- Verify fixes through regression testing and other test methodologies
- Liaise with the Embedded Software Team to identify system requirements
General Requirements
- Excellent communication, testing and troubleshooting skills
- 2+ years of QE experience, preferably on embedded software solutions
- Familiarity with different testing levels including integration tests
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with Python
- Experience or academic background in software development
- Deep understanding of SQE methodologies & practices
- Self-motivation with the ability to work cross-functionally
Nice to haves
- Experience with Robot Framework or other test automation frameworks
- Experience with CI/CD process
- Experience with Azure DevOps
